Q: How are credential requirements set?

A: Each health system sets the credentialing requirements for its operations. Typically, health systems use three categories of requirements based on a combination of factors, including the vendor’s access to sterile areas and patient data, as well as its purchasing volume.

Q: What are the credential requirements?

A: Each health system sets the credentialing requirements for its operations. Some policies, such as appointment requirements and parking policies, may be required of all representatives. Other requirements, such as HIPAA training and immunizations, may only be required of vendors that send representatives into clinical areas.

Q: How long does it take to launch Vendormate vendor management applications?

A: Your credentialing program is live from day one. Because Vendormate supports over 1300 hospitals, we can have best practices in place that healthcare systems can leverage to get started. Of course, each healthcare system's situation is unique. Programs and requirements can be adjusted at any time.

Q: How do badges work?

A: Badges are designed to reflect the most current vendor status and the health system’s requirements. For this reason, badges are single use and printed only at the facility. Badges include space for a representative photo and any appointment information. Health systems, and even facilities and departments within health systems, can specify the standards required before a badge can be produced. Badges can be printed on plain 8.5 x 11 paper or DYMO 450 self-stick labels.

A: Vendormate selected SunGard as its network and hosting provider because SunGard delivers the highest levels of physical, network, server, application and data security to safeguard your data. SAS 70 Type II audits of SunGard services and infrastructure are conducted annually.

After authentication, each user's identity accompanies every data request, to strictly enforce segregation of customer data. Q: What is Vendormate’s privacy policy?

A: Read Vendormate’s privacy policy.
