Position Summary
The Product Manager will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to identify, prioritize, define, design and implement the needs of our Credentialing product, Vendormate VISION. The Product Manager must be able to communicate with multiple teams, interact with software applications such as Salesforce.com, Blueprint Requirements Center, Rally, and the MS Office Suite, as well as interact directly with the Development and QA teams for clarification and problem solving.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to the head of Product Management
- Manage the entire product life cycle of our Vendormate Vision product, from creation of business cases to maintenance of product roadmaps through product rollout
- Elicit business requirements from Market sources, customers, prospects, and internal business owners
- Build business cases for key product initiatives including ROI analysis of proposed system enhancements
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for consumption by development
- Maintain prioritized backlog of defined product features
- Utilize and maintain product management tools including Salesforce.com, Blueprint, Rally, Viewpath and Balsamiq
- Interact directly with the Development team to explain business requirements, understand technical limitations and develop alternative solutions
- Work with Marketing to develop "go to market" strategy for new feature/functionality
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or management discipline
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Experience with one or more Requirement Elicitation tools (Blueprint, CalibreRM, Doors, etc.) a plus
- Team oriented, motivated individual willing to work towards a common goal in a flexible work environment
- Experience organizing, prioritizing, then coordinating complex team efforts
